Clay: OWLS

During this beginners clay session we will be creating a terracotta clay OWL.  This session will use techniques such as pinch pots, scratch and slip and using basic sculpting techniques.  This is suitable for children over 6 years (when accompanied by a supervising adult) or adults who want to make these cute home decor owls! 

Once the owl have been created they will be left at the studio to slowly dry, before being fired and returned as a rich red bare terracotta - which you can either leave bare or use acrylic paints to decorate at your leisure (paints not supplied).  The owl will be returned within 4-6 weeks. 

Drinks and snacks will be available as usual.  

£15 per person (accompanying, non-participating adults are free), with a £5 non-refundable deposit to secure your seat.  We reserve the right to change the dates or cancel the session if we do not get enough participants.
