Hand Built Highland Cows

Due to the popularity of our first highland cow workshop we have decided to run this one a second time! Read further if you're interested in this workshop.

In this clay sculpting session on 18th April we will be sitting down for a 2.5hour workshop and hand building our cows. We will be using soft white earthenware clay, with techniques such as making pinch pots, learning about score and slip, and using a range of pottery tools. Our cows will then be carefully dried and fired at the studio. This will take 3-4 weeks.

Once fired your (now pottery) cow will be available for decoration, at your leisure in our studio during our regular hours - no workshop, just using your imagination.

The cost for the combined sessions is £35. The £5 booking deposit is taken off the balance and you then pay £20 on the first workshop and £10…
