Hand Built Highland Cows

Highland cows are back for 2024! Read further if you're interested in this workshop. 

In this clay sculpting session on 8th February we will be sitting down for a 3hour workshop and hand building our cows. We will be using soft white earthenware clay, with techniques such as making pinch pots, learning about score and slip, and using a range of pottery tools.  Our cows will then be carefully dried and fired at the studio. This will take 3-4 weeks. 

Once fired your (now pottery) cow will be available for decoration, at your leisure in our studio during our regular hours - no workshop, just using your imagination.  

The cost for the combined sessions is £40. The £5 booking deposit is taken off the balance and you then pay £25 on the first workshop and £10 when you decorate. If you'd prefer to have your cow simply clear glazed…
