January - Freestyle Play with Clay

We love a good workshop, but sometimes we know people just want to make their own thing - so at this event you will be given some basic tools, a lump of white earthenware clay and the freedom to make whatever you choose.  Sculptures, pots, bowls or mugs, you decide! 

We will be on hand to give advice where needed, but otherwise you’ll have free rein. 

£20 per person. Your non-refundable £5 deposit will secure your seat and will be taken off the bill on the night. Over 11’s welcome. 

This event will not include tuition, so please come with ideas, we will be on hand to help with technique, but not one-on-one tuition.  

You are welcome to come back to paint your creations once the have been fired with our regular studio glazes - this will be an additional £10 cover the extra session and materials (up to 3 pots). 

Your pots will be fired, glazed and fired again, and returned 4-6 weeks later!  Maximum 3 items per person, minimum sizes also apply.  The studio does not take any responsibility for breakages during handling or firing, we will always be careful with your creations, but clay can be delicate and this can, on occasion, result in breakage or cracking during drying/firing.
