MOSIAC: Owls

Join us for this months Mosaic workshop to make your very own free standing OWL.  Beginners and children over 6 years welcome (children must be accomapnied by a supervising adult). 

We will be using our mini mosiac tiles and glue to create your own owl design on a pre-cut high quality 18mm thick MDF design.  During the session we will be selecting our coloured tiles and cutting (if necessary) to size, then using tacky glue to stick our tiles to the owl shape.  To allow the glue to dry sufficiently, we will send you home with grout powder - colour of your choice (white, grey or black) - and full instructions to allow you to grout your tiles at your leisure at home.   

The MDF blanks we use have been specially treated to ensure moisture from the glue/grout does not effect the wood.   All grout is non-toxic, although it can be drying to the skin (or darker colours can temporarily dye the skin), so we recommend using Marigolds or disposible gloves to apply grout to your piece.  

Drinks and snacks will be avaiable as usual during the session. 

£15 per person/owl (accompanying adults are free), non-refundable £5 booking deposit required at the time of booking.  Pre-booking is essential and we reserve the right to cancel or move  the session if we do not get enough participants.
