**SOLD OUT** Floral Coasters or Plaque Workshop

Join me as I guide you through the process of making your own beautiful imprint coasters. You bring the nature and I’ll do the rest!  By the end of the evening you will have made, from scratch, a set of coasters or a single large plaque if you’d prefer

Using clay and the plants, leaves and flowers which you bring, we will roll out the clay into a slab before imprinting your floral design, once this is done you can select your favorite clay cutter shape and size (or why not go free-style?) and then use a little colour to highlight the best bits.  

Once complete, your clay coasters will be taken to my workshop and allowed to dry slowly (to get all the water out), before being kiln fired to turn them into bisque. Once this is complete they will then be handbrushed with glaze and fired again to make a shiny, watertight barrier around the coasters.  This entire process can take between 4-6 weeks, and once complete I will contact you to arrange delivery of your final pieces. 

The workshop is £25 per person for a two hour guided session, and you will be supplied with 1-1.5kg of clay, which will be pre-prepared and ready for working (I even have rollng machine, so nothing too physical - no wheel work).  Just bring yourself and the flora you want to use for decoration. 

The session is limited to 8 people, to ensure everyone is able to follow and ask questions etc.  A £5 deposits to secure places (to be taken off the workshop balance, payable on the night).
